4. Who will step up at wide receiver?

Just how bad has the wide receiver position been for the Eagles over the last few months?

It was one thing for Philadelphia to adjust to playing without DeSean Jackson for most of the season, but the latest injury to Alshon Jeffery has taken concerns at wide receiver to new levels.

The team’s most recent win over the Washington Redskins is another perfect example of the concerns surrounding the Eagles at the position since Greg Ward Jr. was technically the only receiver to make a catch.

By now, Philadelphia assumed that someone like JJ Arcega-Whiteside would find a way to take advantage of the extra playing time on offense, but the rookie failing to record a single catch in Week 15 against Washington shows how this year has been for the young wideout.

Since options are going to continue to be limited for the Eagles on offense, could Arcega-Whiteside finally be in for a big game when Philadelphia needs him the most against the Cowboys?

Sadly, Arcega-Whitside’s play makes this seem like a long shot, but maybe if the Eagles are lucky, this will finally be the breakout game the team has been waiting for from the rookie since their season is on the line.
