12 extra quarters

It’s been said so many times that, now, it’s irritating to hear it. At the time of this story’s publishing, every single one of us will be somewhere thinking about the Eagles and whether or not they can upend the rival Dallas Cowboys and win the NFC East.

By the time Christmas rolls around, we’ll all know what the game’s outcome is. Philly wins, and the ‘Birds’ need one more win versus the New York Giants to put them in the playoffs.

That would mean Philly would host a Wildcard Playoff game. That means 12 additional quarters of winning football gives them a shot at another Lombardi Trophy. Let’s all hope that we get to see those 12 additional quarters.
