11 men on defense

Perhaps, there isn’t a better word in the English language that can describe the Eagles defense other than inconsistent. There’s no logical explanation for a defensive unit playing lights out versus the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks and then, making Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Miami Dolphins offense look like the San Francisco 49ers during the Steve Young years.

Over the course of the 2018 and 2019 seasons, the Eagles haven’t been able to stop the Cowboys during moments of the game where they absolutely have to come up big.

Dak Prescott‘s had some nice showings. He’s made big plays over the course of these last three games. Ezekiel Elliott has done just about whatever he’s wanted to do. Amari Cooper has looked unstoppable at times versus this Eagles secondary,

If that happens again on Sunday, Philadelphia will lose to Dallas for a fifth consecutive time.
