’10’ on the field again

It was supposed to be the crowning achievement of what’s been a phenomenal career up to this point. Just think about the gravity of the situation. DeSean Jackson returns home to the place where his NFL career began.

What better way to end things than by helping deliver another Lombardi Trophy in a career that’s spanned 12 seasons and produced 598 receptions, 10,420 receiving yards, and 55 touchdowns?

That doesn’t even include his 447 rushing yards and four touchdowns on the ground or his 1,313 punt return yards or four touchdowns on punt returns (that includes a very ‘special’ moment on special teams in a certain game versus the Giants several moons ago).

In one game, we saw what could have been. ‘D-Jax’ put the team on his back in Week 1 of 2019’s season and willed them to victory as he posted eight receptions totaling 154 yards and two touchdowns. Eagles fans may be upset with him now, but the moment he steps on the field again, all will be forgiven.
