7. Cowboys hope for another strong outing from Elliott, Pollard

Speaking of running backs selected in the draft, the Cowboys used one of their picks in April on Tony Pollard to help take some of the pressure off Ezekiel Elliott in the backfield.

Even the best of running backs like Elliott can use a few breaks from time to time in the NFL, and after watching this Dallas duo have their way against the defense of the Los Angeles Rams in Week 15, the Cowboys would love to see similar results against the Eagles.

As bad as it sounds, Philadelphia’s defense is one of those units in which no one really knows what to expect on a weekly basis since they will look amazing one week, only to struggle the next.

Over the last couple of years, the Eagles have been used to dealing with Elliott as one of the league’s most dangerous running backs, but Pollard is a whole new problem to worry about for Philadelphia’s defense moving forward.

After watching the two running backs combine for 248 rushing yards and three touchdowns against the Rams, the Eagles will need to be extra cautious on Sunday when it comes to keeping Elliott and Pollard in check as much as possible.
