3. Agholor most likely done with Eagles

Even before the recent frustration surrounding Nelson Agholor‘s knee injury turning out to be more of an issue than originally expected, the former first-round pick hasn’t exactly been making a convincing case for the team to bring the wideout back in 2020.

With Agholor’s contract up after the 2019 season, the Eagles will face a difficult decision when it comes to deciding whether to give him another shot next season to prove himself, or simply move on since this could be best for both parties.

During Philadelphia’s epic Super Bowl run during the 2017 season along with the following year in which the Eagles reached the Divisional Round of the playoffs, Agholor certainly played a key role on offense for Philadelphia.

But as this current season showed once again, Agholor can also be one of the most unreliable receivers, whether it happens to be dropping key passes or simply failing to step up with a larger role when needed while the offense was dealing with injuries.

As bad as it sounds, a fresh start could be best for both the Eagles and Agholor entering the 2020 season, which means if this were to be the case, upgrading with someone during the draft like Lamb could work wonders for Philadelphia.
