3. Jones displaying another strong outing

Remember how frustrated some Giants fans were back in April when the team decided to use a first-round pick on Daniel Jones when looking at some of the other quarterbacks that were available?

Clearly, New York did their homework on Jones, and while the rookie certainly still has plenty to prove as far as being the right answer is concerned, the future appears to be bright for the Giants under center.

Like most rookies, Jones still has numerous areas in need of improvement before he can be part of the discussion of being a top quarterback in the league, but at least the youngster is on the right path.

Take a look at last weekend for example when Jones torched the Redskins’ defense with five touchdown passes, and it’s easy to understand why there’s so much excitement surrounding the rookie.

After facing Eli Manning a few weeks ago, it will be interesting to see how Jones looks facing the Eagles for the first time in his young career.

Since playing on the road has been an issue at times for Philadelphia’s defense, the unit better be extra cautious when it comes to Jones, or the rookie could make them pay for it in a big way.
