4. Howard’s impact after missing six games

After missing the last six games due to a shoulder injury, Jordan Howard was finally cleared for contact this week, and hopes to provide the Eagles with an extra weapon to work with in the backfield on Sunday.

More from Inside the Iggles

Over the last two months, Miles Sanders has done an incredible job at stepping up on offense for Philadelphia in Howard’s absence, and it’s safe to say he’s on the same level as Wentz in regards to how the Eagles wouldn’t be in this current position without the rookie running back.

In fact, Sanders has been so impressive as of late, there’s even been talk over the former Penn State star deserving serious consideration to take home Offensive Rookie of the Year honors when the time comes.

But for now, the main focus for the Eagles is helping Howard ease his way back into the offense since it’s never easy for any player to pick right up where they left off after missing a significant amount of time.

Obviously, the main goal for Philadelphia against New York would be seeing Howard pick right up where he left off, but also not to panic if he starts off rusty since patience will be key if needed.
