5. Carson Wentz throws for 300 yards and three touchdowns.

More from Inside the Iggles

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the star of this one will be Carson Wentz. We’ve talked about him standing on the doorstep of history. 167 passing yards will give him both the franchise record for passing yards in a season and 250 will give him over 4,000 yards total, something no other Eagles quarterback has ever done.

Three touchdown passes and 300 yards passing for Carson Wentz sounds about right.

Why? Doug Pederson hates running the football, and to be honest, while the natural reaction is to say winning is more important than breaking records, the more obvious conclusion is this one.

If Wentz doesn’t throw for more than 250 yards, the Eagles probably aren’t going to win this game anyway. Cut it loose ’11’. You might as well make a little history along the way.
