4. Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans are the perfect example of how crazy this time of year can be since the team lost two key games down the stretch, yet managed to earn the final Wild Card spot in Week 17 by defeating the Houston Texans on the road.

Even if some will make the argument the Titans only won due to the Texans resting their starters, all Tennessee cares about is receiving the opportunity to be part of the new season in the playoffs that will be taking place in January.

A few months ago, Mike Vrabel received all sorts of criticism for his decision to make the switch from Marcus Mariota to Ryan Tannehill at quarterback since offensive line seemed to be the main issue surrounding the offense.

Turns out, the switch at quarterback saved the 2019 season for the Titans after watching the group emerge as one of the hottest teams in the NFL over the final two months, and certainly seem capable of making a deep run.

Between Tannehill’s emergence to go along with Derrick Henry‘s surprise rushing title, Tennessee seems like the last team to sleep on during the playoffs, and even if all their wins would need to come on the road, they seem ready for the challenge.
