3. Houston Texans

To say the Texans have been one of the most difficult teams to figure out this season would be a huge understatement since there have been games in which they look like a top threat in the AFC, only to come back down to earth the next.

Take a look at when the Texans made a huge statement during the regular season by defeating the Patriots, only to come out the following weekend and lose at home to the Denver Broncos.

Entering this year’s playoffs as the No. 4 seed, the Texans will look to avoid an early exit like last year around this time, but the good news is with Deshaun Watson calling the shots on offense, anything seems possible for this Houston team.

Throughout his career, Watson has been one of those quarterbacks who always seems capable of putting up monster numbers on offense, and the Texans star certainly benefits from having one of the best in the game at wide receiver with DeAndre Hopkins.

Earning a trip to the Super Bowl over the rest of the competition in the AFC will be far from easy, but also these are the kinds of situations Watson loves to be part of to show the Texans are in fact the real deal.
