3 reasons Eagles desperately need Miles Sanders healthy for Seahawks

2. Seattle’s defense had little trouble during regular season

Even though Zach Ertz technically found the end zone with 20 seconds remaining when these two teams met towards the end of November, this was the only touchdown scored in the game for the Eagles during their 17-9 loss to the Seahawks.

In other words, if it weren’t for that Ertz touchdown with the game already over, Philadelphia basically went the entire contest without finding the end zone once.

Over the last couple of months, it’s been unreal to look at all of the injuries the Eagles have been forced to deal with on offense, and losing Sanders against the Giants seemed to be the icing on the cake for Philadelphia.

As previously mentioned, it was certainly great to watch Scott finish with a career day once Sanders was forced to leave, but the Eagles are going to need all of the offensive firepower on Sunday for their best chance at defeating the Seahawks.

After only recording 86 yards from scrimmage during the first meeting with Seattle, there’s a good chance that Philadelphia will need to see Sanders top these numbers when facing the Seahawks on Sunday, that is assuming he ends up playing.

Other players such as Scott have proven to be able to step up on offense when needed, but with the impact Sanders has made over the last month, the argument can be made that he is Philadelphia’s most dangerous weapon right now on offense.
