1. Eagles already missing too many offensive weapons

From having to adjust to playing without DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery to losing Ertz in Week 16 with a rib injury, words cannot even describe how frustrating it’s been to watch key members of the Eagles drop like flies due to injuries this season.

Sure, it’s been great to watch other players step up in their absence, but one can only imagine how different the circumstances would be for Philadelphia entering the playoffs if they weren’t dealing with so many injuries to key players.

As previously mentioned, Sanders already seems determined to do whatever it is necessary to make sure he’s ready to go for his first career playoff game against the Seahawks.

But since Philadelphia has been forced to be extra cautious, and there are no guarantees that all will be well, the Eagles better hope Sanders doesn’t become the latest victim to the long injury list of key players forced to miss games.

On paper, Philadelphia arguably has one of the best offenses in the league, and it’s been incredible to witness this team overcome all sorts of obstacles over the last month or so just to be in position to host a playoff game.

Without Sanders stepping up the way he has, there’s no way the Eagles are in this current position as NFC East champions, and the team would love nothing more than to see the trend continue in the most important game of the season on Sunday with a trip to the Divisional Round on the line.
