Philadelphia Eagles versus Seattle Seahawks: 5 Bold predictions
Dare we say a 30-point outburst from Philly?
It’s been quite the month for Carson Wentz. Sure there was the four-game winning streak and the ‘Carson and the kids’ comments. Sure, QB1 lost his receivers and running backs, and then, he decided to take out his tight end and right tackle.
A high throw and vicious hit on Ertz earned ’86’ the right to owning the most talked about ribcage and kidney in recent Eagles memory.
Wentz’s accidental tumble, a fall that was broken by Lane Johnson‘s leg, forced Philly to play much of the Week 14 game versus the New York Giants and every game that has followed without him. Johnson is out for the Wild Card Game. Halapoulivaati Vaitai will fill in at right tackle.
Despite all of that, Carson Wentz will shine with the returning Ertz and Sanders paying huge dividends. The ‘Birds’ will get solid production out of a well-rested Jordan Howard. The young guys will continue to improve and make plays.
Much is expected of this Eagles offense. Expectations will be rewarded. Expect a 30-point outburst to silence the doubters even further.
