10. Ohio State Running Back J.K. Dobbins

Running back obviously isn’t a top priority for the Eagles entering the draft after seeing Miles Sanders make a statement about being able to handle the duties of a top option along with the surprise emergence of Boston Scott.

But since Darren Sproles is retiring and Jordan Howard‘s future is uncertain, if Philadelphia  ended up surprising football fans by going with running back in the first round, J.K. Dobbins would make an intriguing option.

Over the years, Ohio State has seen plenty of great running backs go on to have successful NFL careers, with Ezekiel Elliott immediately coming to mind.

Dobbins is nowhere near the same level as Elliott at the moment, but watching the Buckeyes star find the end zone 23 times in 2019 while recording 2,250 yards from scrimmage shows his NFL potential.

Best part is, if Dobbins were to become part of the mix in Philadelphia’s backfield, this would result in Sanders and Scott (assuming he’s back) feeling less pressure at the position since their workload would be a little lighter.

Between his ability to find space along with being able to handle a heavy workload, Dobbins is the kind of selection that could bring plenty to the table on an offense like the Eagles.
