9. Alabama Edge Rusher Terrell Lewis

Philadelphia can never have too many pass-rushers on the defensive side of the football, and with all the potential prospects that will be available in the first round, it may be too difficult to pass on one.

To say Alabama has sen plenty of great defenders go on to have successful NFL careers would be a huge understatement since there always seems to be at least one or two guaranteed to be selected on the first night.

Once again, the Crimson Tide could see numerous players selected in the first round, and if Philadelphia were interested in an effective edge rusher, Terrell Lewis could be their answer.

During his junior season at Alabama, Lewis certainly made his presence felt by recording six sacks to go along with 11.5 tackles for loss.

Lewis’ explosiveness alone makes him worth the consideration for late in the first round, and even though previous injuries will seem like a concern, hopefully this isn’t as much of an issue on the NFL level.

Some will say Lewis only appearing in 14 career games with the Crimson Tide dating back to 2017 is a reason for concern (missed all of 2018 due to a torn ACL), but based off his play from this past season, the young defender should be just fine in the pros.
