10 NCAA prospects Eagles can pair with Cre’Von LeBlanc at cornerback
Florida Gators standout corner C.J. Henderson is that unique mix of side, speed, and athleticism that earns guys like this that 80-overall ranking on EA Sports’ Madden as a rookie.
As is par for the course, the theories on what Henderson is, how good he’ll be at the next level, and where he’ll come off of draft boards is a huge topic of discussion, but many of the experts and scouts that you’ll poll will have him coming off of boards somewhere between the latter part of the first round and early in the second.
Henderson is going to be ranked below Diggs and Okudah for obvious reasons. One, is there are questions about his durability. He missed games against the Kentucky Wildcats, the Gators’ annual clash with the Tennessee Volunteers. The second reason is obvious. There are questions about his consistency. He didn’t fare too well versus the LSU Tigers and Georgia Bulldogs, and that could stem from injuries or a lack of consistent concentration.
Henderson also misses some pretty easy tackles from time to time. Now, that won’t excite Eagles fans who are tired of seeing that from their team, but with the proper coaching, Henderson could be very good.
