5. Brett Hundley

Was it unfair to judge Brett Hundley early on his career with the Green Bay Packers when he struggled in 2017 for the most part when Aaron Rodgers was injured?

Even though Hundley saw limited action in 2019 with the Arizona Cardinals as the backup to Kyler Murray, the quarterback has clearly improved from a few years ago, and seems much more reliable.

Does this mean the Eagles would ever explore the possibility of Hundley?

As bad as it sounds, it’s tough to determine how effective of a quarterback Hundley would be if needed for Philadelphia, but also the fact that he’s been around for five seasons now makes it seem like the Eagles could count on him if needed.

In a way, Hundley deserves some benefit of the doubt for some of the struggles during the 2017 season since he was inexperienced in the NFL, and expected to help keep the Packers one of the top contenders in the NFC.

Now that Hundley has a better taste of what it takes to be successful in the NFL, this past season with the Cardinals makes it seem like he’s in much better shape, and could handle the responsibilities with the Eagles if needed.
