9. Van Jefferson

Playing in the SEC tends to help bring out the best in certain players, and even though Florida didn’t exactly have the most exciting offense in the world during the 2019 season, Van Jefferson still found a way to put together an impressive senior campaign.

More from Inside the Iggles

After beginning his playing career at Ole Miss, Jefferson made the transfer to Florida before the 2018 season, as this seemed to work out perfect for the wideout after finishing his two years with the Gators by catching 84 passes for 1,160 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Once again, these numbers certainly don’t stand out like some of the other top receivers from this year’s draft class, but also this kind of impact shows Jefferson could be a solid addition as the No. 3 or No. 4 option for the Eagles.

Looking at his numbers from the previous two seasons with the Gators, Jefferson seems like he would be a great fit playing alongside Jeffery or Jackson while facing less pressure in the process.

And who knows, maybe once Jefferson gets some NFL experience under his belt, his impressive technique as a wideout could result in a larger role down the road if needed, but also there’s no need to jump to that conclusion just yet.
