Philadelphia Eagles: 10 draft picks to potentially replace Nelson Agholor
By Dan Parzych
3. Jalen Reagor
Even though Jalen Reagor‘s 2019 numbers were down a bit from the year before, the TCU product is still considered to be one of the top wide receivers from this year’s draft class.
At the moment, Reagor is projected to go in the first or second round of the draft in April, which could actually work to the advantage of Philadelphia if he happens to be available on Day 2.
With the Eagles desperately in need of help at the cornerback position, it only makes sense for the team to focus on this area at No. 21, although nothing should be ruled out since Philadelphia will also need to see which players are available.
But if Philadelphia does end up taking this approach, and Reagor happens to be available when the team is on the clock Friday night of the draft, this could almost seem too good to be true for the NFC East champions.
Some football fans will be critical towards the fact that Reagor only caught 43 passes for 611 yards with five touchdowns this past season, but this shouldn’t take away from his NFL potential.
If anything, Reagor’s speed makes the wideout an intriguing option at the NFL level, and could cause plenty of problems lining up alongside Jackson in the passing game.
