10 Philadelphia Eagles NCAA prospects who could replace Jordan Howard
If you’re on the East Coast and refused to stay up late to watch West Coast football, you probably missed a ton of the work that Zack Moss was putting in for the Utah Utes this season. If that’s an accurate assessment, then, you missed a visual treat.
Moss averaged six yards per rush while racking up 1,416 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also caught 28 passes for 388 yards and reached the end zone two times as a receiver. He’s probably going to wind up coming off of draft boards on day two. He’s five-foot-two and weighs 215 pounds.
Sure, there are all of those cliches about no one playing defense in the Big 12 and that conference being the collegiate equivalent of an arena league, but if a man averages just under 6.5 yards per rush and racks up 2,094 yards and he scores 21 rushing touchdowns versus other men, then, that man deserves to be talked about as one of the top ten running backs in the nation.
Chuba Hubbard showed some skills as a receiver too, hauling in 23 catches for 198 yards for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. If you’re unfamiliar with his resume, don’t worry. You’ll hear a lot about him between now and April.
Trust and believe you’ll be sick of hearing about these guys by draft day.
