10 potential free agents Philadelphia Eagles can pair with Brandon Graham
Ronald Blair may be seen as expendable with the amount of talent that the San Francisco 49ers have on defense. He was used as a rotational guy over the course of the past four seasons (47 games total), but Blair never played more than 50 percent of the snaps over the course of any NFL season.
In 2018, he was on the field for 534 defensive snaps, exactly half of the team’s total, but that number dipped to 199 during the 2019 regular season, roughly 19 percent.
So far, Blair’s career numbers read as follows: 88 total tackles (59 were of the solo variety), 13.5 sacks, and a forced fumble.
He could flourish in an expanded role with good coaching and with talent around him. He’s also 27 and being on the right side of 30 should draw the interest of a few suitors. We definitely know one thing. He should be fresh.
