Philadelphia Eagles 15 best wins from 2010 to 2019
Carson Wentz’s Philadelphia Eagles career began with a bang. His first ever drive versus the Cleveland Browns led to a touchdown pass to Jordan Matthews, and just like that, a star was born. On opening weekend, ’11’ thrilled us all with a 22 of 37, 278-yard performance that saw Philly’s new franchise quarterback throw two touchdowns, the second being a beautiful rainbow to Nelson Agholor.
Philly won that one by a score of 29-10. It would be the first win of a three-game winning streak to begin Wentz’s career.
In Week 2, Philly traveled to Soldier Field for a Monday Night Football game versus the Chicago Bears. They won that one by a 29-14 margin. The third game of the 2016 season finds it’s way onto this list in the number 14 slot. In Week 3 of 2016, the ‘Birds’ returned to Lincoln Financial Field to host the cross-state-rival Pittsburgh Steelers.
In that one, everything that we would learn to love about Wentz was on display. He used his arm and his legs en route to a 34-3 blowout victory. The day was highlighted by him climbing the pocket and finding Darren Sproles on an outlet. ’43’ did the rest as he took that one 73 yards for a touchdown. There wasn’t any stress in this one. For a football fan, that’s a good thing sometimes.
