The Eagles’ 2018 season took a drastic turn in Week 14 versus the Dallas Cowboys when a two-game winning streak was halted by an Amari Cooper game-winning touchdown catch in overtime. Philly entered Week 15 with a 6-7 win-loss total, desperately needing a win over the L.A. Rams to keep their playoff hopes alive.
The Eagles were underdogs, and their backs were hopelessly against the wall. Perhaps that’s all that they needed to hear to get themselves going.
In 2017, Carson Wentz’s season ended with a torn MCL and ACL in Los Angeles. In 2018, ’11’ wouldn’t even get an opportunity to suit up and play in the game.
