2020 NFL Mock Draft 1.0: Eagles focus on safety with Grant Delpit
By Dan Parzych
Thanks to previous wheeling and dealing, the Miami Dolphins are fortune enough to have numerous picks in the first round of this year’s draft, meaning they will be able to address numerous needs early on.
Assuming the Dolphins end up focusing on quarterback at No. 5 as previously discussed, it’s fair to assume that Miami will look to addressing the defense at No. 18 since there will be plenty of great candidates to choose from.
Without question, one position Miami really needs to focus on is cornerback, and if this were to be the direction they decide to focus on, Trevon Diggs could end up being the perfect candidate to consider.
Over the years, the NFL has seen plenty of former Alabama defenders go on to have successful NFL careers, and it seems like only a matter of time before Diggs finds himself joining that incredible list.
Tackling may be one of the areas Diggs needs to improve on once he reaches the NFL, but at least the Crimson Tide star finds a way to make up for it in other areas.
From his athletic ability to press coverage skills, Diggs will make some NFL team excited about being part of their squad, whether it happens to be the Dolphins or someone else.
