Oregon. player. 13. Pick Analysis. Quarterback. Justin Herbert. 6. Scouting Report

Will the Los Angeles Chargers finally pull the trigger this offseason and move on from Philip Rivers after seeing the results from 2019?

Throughout his career, there have been plenty of great moments surrounding Rivers as a top quarterback in the NFL, but this past season made it clear the veteran is far from the effective level the Chargers need him to be on.

In fact, when looking at all of the talent Los Angeles was fortunate enough to work with on both sides of the football, 2019 will go down as a wasted opportunity after the team won just five games all season.

If the Chargers do decide to go with a quarterback early on in the draft, chances are that Burrow and Tagovailoa will be off the board by the time Los Angeles is on the clock at No. 6.

But when it comes to Oregon star quarterback Justin Herbert, this could be the perfect match for the Chargers in regards to a young new player to potentially build the offense around.

During his playing days with the Ducks, Herbert has received all sorts of high praise for accuracy and ability to stretch the field while helping Oregon earn the rights to being considered a top team in college football.

Plus, with Herbert only tossing 14 interceptions during his final two seasons with the Ducks, this shows how great the quarterback is with his decision making under center.
