1. Aaron Lynch

The fact that Chicago signed Aaron Lynch to one-year deals in each of the last two seasons makes it seem like the team is afraid to commit to the defender for the long run, which could actually benefit Philadelphia.

Lynch may not have recorded a single start for the Bears in 2019, but he did appear in 16 games, although the two sacks, and just six combined tackles could be viewed as concerning.

Then again, the argument can also be made that part of the reason behind Chicago only signing Lynch to a one-year deal last offseason was due to the belief that he may not be the best fit for their defense.

Since Lynch seems like he could benefit from a fresh start on a new team with a better opportunity for more playing time after the results of this past season, the chance to join a serious contender in the NFC like the Eagles could work out great for both parties.

Once again, any interest in Lynch by the Eagles would most likely be for depth reasons, and while he doesn’t stand out like some of the other defensive players that will be available in free agency, this could also help Philadelphia land him at a cheaper price.
