Sooner or later, the Eagles realize their offensive line is going to go through a bit of a shake up when guys like Jason Kelce and Jason Peters decide to call it a career, meaning it will be extremely important to add the necessary depth before then.

Not to mention, as much as Philadelphia doesn’t want to hear it, some of their key members to the unit being up there in age arguably puts them more at risk to suffer an injury,

Prior to the start of last season, Miami acquired Evan Boehm from the Indianapolis Colts, making the Dolphins his third NFL team in four seasons.

And while all of the bouncing around may seem like a concern to some teams, the experience as a starter alone makes Boehm worth the consideration.

From stepping up for the Colts in 2018 to fill in for a previously injured Ryan Kelly to starting eight of the 13 games appeared in last season with the Dolphins, Boehm could provide the necessary depth to the offensive line Philadelphia is looking for next season.

Most importantly, even if Boehm didn’t see as much playing time in 2020, if he were to eventually take over as a consistent starter at center when the time came for Kelce, this would make the move seem even more worth it for the Eagles.
