Would the Eagles ever consider a reunion with Beau Allen after the defensive tackle spent the previous two years in Tampa Bay?

Without question, Allen was always a favorite to follow during the four years he spent in Philadelphia to kick off his NFL career, and the fan base would easily welcome him back with open arms in 2020 if the opportunity were to present itself.

At the time, it was easy to understand the decision behind the Eagles and Allen parting ways after winning the Super Bowl during the 2017 season, but reunions seem to be more common in the NFL these days.

Take a look at the Eagles situation from around this time last year with DeSean Jackson, and there’s every reason to believe the same could happen with Allen now that he’s become available in free agency.

Even if Allen only has 2.5 career sacks to his name, a move like this would be more important for depth reasons with Philadelphia, and help take some of the additional pressure off the other defenders on the line.

Not to mention, when seeing how things didn’t exactly turn out as expected for Allen in Tampa Bay, this would most likely mean the Eagles would be able to get him at a fair price as well if the interest were there.
