1. Chris Jones

Based off the last two seasons of action, Chris Jones only going to continue getting better, and seems to be in for a hefty pay raise after playing a big role in helping the Chiefs win the Super Bowl this past season.

One year after setting a career high of 15.5 sacks, Jones took home Pro Bowl honors for the first time in 2019 after finishing with nine sacks in 13 games, although winning the Super Bowl was obviously was more exciting for the star defender.

Normally, the Chiefs’ offense led by Patrick Mahomes tends to receive the most praise for the team’s success each season, but watching the defense step up in a big way down the stretch in 2019 shows how valuable players like Jones ended up being.

When seeing how Kansas City is expected to be one of the early favorites to make another run at the Super Bowl, there are plenty of reasons to believe the Chiefs will figure out a way to make sure Jones is back in the picture for 2020.

But since nothing is guaranteed when it comes to these kinds of situations in the NFL, if Jones does end up deciding to explore the free agency market, it’s safe to assume that Philadelphia will be one of the teams expressing interest.
