2. Darron Lee

Darron Lee may not have been happy at the time last March when the Jets decided to trade the linebacker to the Chiefs in exchange for a future sixth-round draft pick, but at least he made out for the best after winning the Super Bowl.

Now, the question becomes whether Lee return to Kansas City or be in search of his third NFL team in three years since, as bad as it sounds, the argument can be made the Chiefs feel confident enough in being able to replace him.

While it was great to see Lee appear in every game for the Chiefs, the linebacker only started twice, and finished the 2019 season with a career low 31 combined tackles.

Obviously, Lee’s numbers would have been higher with more starts, but the fact of the matter is a fresh start on a new team could put him in better position to be a consistent starter, whether it happens to be with the Eagles or another team.

The good news for Lee is when taking into consideration that Philadelphia always seems to be in need of help at the linebacker position, this could be the perfect opportunity for him to show off his skills on defense.

Lee alone isn’t going to solve all of the issues Philadelphia has been dealing with, but at least this addition could still be helpful.
