And, the winners are as follows.

Before, we even hand out any awards for the risers at the wide receiver position in this year’s edition of the combine, how about a round of applause for former Missouri Tigers tight end Albert Okwuegbunam? Did we see that correctly? A 4.49-second 40-yard dash? There are a few wide receivers who would have killed for that time, but we’ll get to that in a second.

1. Justin Jefferson

Heading into Thursday’s on-field workouts, there were several guys that we knew could raise their stock with some impressive showings. Throw Justin Jefferson in that category. There’s been some back and forth about whether he’s a first-round or a second-round guy.

Running a 4.4-second 40-yard dash and turning in a nice workout isn’t going to scare anyone away. Do you hear that? That’s right. That’s called silencing the haters.

2. Henry Ruggs III

We didn’t learn anything about Henry Ruggs III that we didn’t know heading into Thursday except that he brings one very real talking point along with him. Is this guy even going to still be on draft boards when the Eagles are on the clock at 21? That was the theory originally. That may not be the case now.
