If you were paying attention, there were a couple of Utah Utes that had a rough day during their portion of workouts in Indy. There’s no need to mention their names or throw them under the bus, but if you do your research, you should be able to figure out who they are with relative ease.

By the time you get to the final days of workouts at the combine, guys are exhausted. Scouts and coaches are trying to grind it out, and everyone’s ready to go home. The defensive backs’ workouts are always entertaining though. There are always some fun guys to watch, and we all can throw Jaylon Johnson in that category.

Thanks to him, we have some positive things to say about former Utes who are entering the NFL.

Johnson posted a 4.5-second 40-yard dash, so people will question his speed some. That’s something that Eagles fans and some of the Philly media won’t like, but the guy’s freakish. He also registered a 36.5-inch vertical and a 124-inch broad jump to go along with a 7.01-second time in the three-cone drill and a 4.13-second time in the 20-yard shuttle.

Every Utah standout will get another look at their Pro Day, but so far, everything seems to be on the up and up for Jaylon Johnson.
