54. . . . Alshon Jeffery. 17. player

Nope, this won’t go away. Here’s what gets lost in the shuffle with those guys and gals who still don’t realize that Carson Wentz wasn’t the problem with the Eagles offense. If you’ve got a couple of guys who are definitely out to get you in your locker room, how successful do you truly have a chance at being as a quarterback? Think about that.

That’s especially true when they’re only going to criticize you anonymously and they’re too cowardly to walk across the locker room and make those statements to you.

We all could be completely wrong about whether or not they’re innocent or guilty, but here’s what we can’t argue.

As soon as they both were confronted, those issues stopped. Now, you can call that what you want, but both are very strange coincidences.

We can go back and forth all day long about whether or not Alshon Jeffery talked to Josina Anderson or whether or not Nelson Agholor was the owner of a certain burner account. We all could be completely wrong about whether or not they’re innocent or guilty, but here’s what we can’t argue.

Agholor’s deal has run its course, and he’s out of here. Jeffery is signed through 2020, but here’s something you need to know if you haven’t figured it out already. ’11’ isn’t going anywhere, and the Eagles organization is going to do what’s necessary not to add undue stress on him.

That means you can throw out any rumors of Nick Foles coming back. They don’t want Wentz to have to look over his shoulder. That also means if Philly finds a trade partner, Jeffery is out of here too. At this point, it just feels like the franchise would rather eat the dead money than have to put up with him for another season. Good luck with finding a trade partner with that high price tag on a guy who now appears to be injury-prone.
