New Orleans Saints: Marshon Lattimore

In three seasons with the New Orleans Saints, Marshon Lattimore has established a reputation for being one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL, and it wouldn’t be a surprise at all if the team eventually picked up his fifth-year option.

But of course, since Lattimore will be looking for a hefty pay raise in a long-term deal at some point in the next year or so, it never hurts to consider the possibility of the Saints exploring what they could get in return for the star cornerback.

Normally, New Orleans is known as a team for their high-powered offense led by Drew Brees, but thanks to Lattimore, the defense has also done their part in becoming a top unit in the league as well.

New Orleans clearly felt confident enough in Lattimore potentially becoming a top cornerback in the league when they used a first-round pick on the former Ohio State star back in 2017, but no one expected these kinds of results so fast.

As great of an addition as Slay is for the Eagles, a cornerback with the talent level of Lattimore would be a dream come true for any defense, and would almost make Philadelphia the top defense within the NFC East, if they weren’t already.
