Washington Redskins: Trent Williams

After nine seasons with the Washington Redskins, it seems like only a matter of time before Trent Williams finds a new home for the 2020 season since there has already been plenty of trade talk surrounding the star tackle.

More from Inside the Iggles

Just like the discussion involving the Cowboys and Giants, the Eagles are one of the last teams the Redskins want to trade Williams to since it could come back to haunt them down the road when competing for the NFC East title.

But since Philadelphia and Washington has a history of big trades, with Donovan McNabb immediately coming to mind, why shouldn’t fans believe the same could happen with Williams?

Plenty of teams are rightfully going to express interest in Williams since the veteran will provide a major boost to any offensive line, but at least the Eagles have a great negotiator on their side in Howie Roseman.

Once again, the thought of the Redskins making the Eagles happy by completing a trade like this sounds ridiculous to even consider, but anything is possible when it comes to the NFL these days.

For all Washington knows, if Philadelphia truly believes Williams could make life easier for Wentz, the Eagles could be willing to make a legitimate offer that would be difficult to turn down.
