With Jordan Howard no longer around due to signing with the Miami Dolphins in free agency, there’s a good chance the Eagles bring on some help at running back in the draft to take some pressure off their current options for 2020.

Last April during the draft, Philadelphia felt confident enough in using a second-round pick on Miles Sanders, and while he started off the year as the backup to Howard, the former Penn State star was handling a majority of the load during the final two months of action.

Between expectations being high for Sanders entering his sophomore campaign along with Boston Scott most likely taking on a larger role, the Eagles appear to be in great shape with their duo at running back.

However, it never hurts to have additional depth just in case, and Ke’Shawn Vaughn‘s final two years at Vanderbilt shows what kind of impact he could bring to the table if Philadelphia were to give him the right opportunity.

As great as it was to watch Vaughn finish his senior year with 1,028 rushing yards to go along with nine trips into the end zone, if the running back could improve his receiving skills in the NFL, this could be an even more valuable pick for a team like the Eagles on the final day.
