Honorable mention: Reggie Robinson (Tulsa), Javelin Guidry (Utah), Lavert Hill (Michigan), Bryce Hall (Virginia), Keith Washington (WVU)

If you’re truly looking for a dark horse, guys don’t come with less mystery than the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes or their best cornerback from the 2019 season, Reggie Robinson. At best, right now, he’s probably a special teams guy or a backup. He could benefit from some good coaching by Marquand Manuel.

The Virginia Cavaliers’ Bryce Hall has shown a tendency to be a little stiff but earns a draft grade of 6.19, which means he could be a good backup that can work his way into a starting role.

Lavert Hill racked up 56 total tackles, including 37 that were solo and seven that resulted in a loss of yardage. Add that to six picks and 20 pass breakups throughout 36 career games with the Michigan Wolverines.

Javelin Guidry is five-foot-nine and weighs 191 pounds, but he also racked up 120 tackles, three interceptions and a forced fumble during his 38-game career with the Utah Utes.

Eagles fans are probably sick of guys from the West Virginia Mountaineers program, but Keith Washington is worth a look. He presents a smaller sample size, having only played 22 games, but he racked up 63 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and five interceptions throughout two seasons.

The major issue with Guidry and Hill is they’re both probably better suited to play in the slot role at the next level, and the Eagles already have a logjam there with LeBlanc, Maddox, and Robey-Coleman. This is a team that needs guys on the outside.
