Philadelphia Eagles: Grading every pick from 2020 NFL Draft

Did the Eagles wait too long to find extra protection for Carson Wentz on the offensive line?
Since the unit isn’t getting any younger along with the fact that Andre Dillard still needs to prove he has what it takes to be a key part of the future, Philadelphia was expected to address the offensive line at some point during the draft.
If looking at Jack Driscoll‘s time at Auburn is any indication of what the offensive tackle’s NFL future has in store, the Eagles are going to be in great position to help him develop into the necessary lineman needed to help Wentz feel better.
However, there is no denying that Driscoll needs to bulk up a bit now that he’s part of the NFL, or opposing defenders are going to be able to bully him around with ease.
The good news for Philadelphia is with a pick like this, the coaching staff can afford to be a little patient with Driscoll if needed since this fourth-round selection seems to be focused on the long run instead of expecting immediate results.
But once again, if Driscoll found a way to shine right away as a rookie, the Eagles would obviously be beyond thrilled, and could view this pick as a potential Day 3 steal.
