The quarterbacks (3)

Carson Wentz, Nate Sudfeld, Jalen Hurts

This one should be pretty easy for us to figure out.

If you haven’t noticed this by now, here’s a news bulletin. The Eagles have attached themselves to the “Wentz Wagon”, and they intend to ride it until the wheels fall off

If you haven’t noticed this by now, here’s a news bulletin. The Eagles have attached themselves to the “Wentz Wagon”, and they intend to ride it until the wheels fall off, hence their decision to allow Nick Foles to walk and the subsequent moves of picking up Carson Wentz’s fifth-year option on April 29th of 2019 and the four-year, $128 million contract extension that he was given and he signed on June 6th of 2019.

Behind him on the depth chart is Nate Sudfeld, who has completed 20 passes and thrown one touchdown in his career and the rookie, Jalen Hurts. We expect a package to be put together to utilize Hurts’ gifts, but the overwhelming sentiment is a familiar one. Everyone is hoping that Carson Wentz doesn’t get hurt.

You might have heard that Philly surprised everyone by selecting him in the second round of 2020’s NFL Draft. He was the runner-up to the winner of the Heisman Trophy in 2019, the most recent draft’s first-overall selection Joe Burrow.
