54. . . . Manasseh Bailey. . player

The six-foot-one and 195-pound Manasseh Bailey flourished in his final season with HBCU mainstay Morgan State as this former Bear racked up 996 yards and ten touchdowns on 54 receptions.

That gave him a total of 117 receptions for 2, 079 yards and twenty trips to the end zone over the course of a 43 career-game run. While the stat line doesn’t overpower you, the tape Bailey put together in his final run in Baltimore shows that there is some upside. A 4.39-second showing in the 40-yard dash and a nice workout at the most recent NFL Scouting Combine won’t turn any scouts off either.

It definitely piqued the interest of the Eagles brass as their desire to get faster and younger has been well documented.

Bailey could benefit by adding a few pounds to his frame for the next level, but despite that, you know what they say. The last man who’s welcomed in is often the first man who’s ushered out. Bailey, an addition that the Eagles made post-draft, is a huge question mark, and right now, on a roster that sports 14 wide receivers, Manasseh Bailey may be the 14th on Philly’s depth chart once things get rolling.
