4. New York Giants: Week 7 (Home), Week 10 (Away)

Similar to the situation with the Redskins, the New York Giants are another team from the NFC East that could cause some surprise problems within the division if some of their younger players take another major step development wise.

Take a look at Daniel Jones for instance, who was a surprise first-round pick to begin with last year before eventually taking over for Eli Manning in the middle of September.

Believe it or not, Jones actually displayed a few impressive performances throughout his rookie campaign to show enormous potential, and just how much New York did their homework on the Duke product leading up to the draft.

Jones was already fortunate enough to be working with another young star on the rise in Saquon Barkley in the backfield, but whether the Giants receives better support from his receivers along with whether the defense steps up will determine this team’s 2020 fate.

On paper, New York certainly seems capable of being a surprise contender in the NFC, and if this turns out to be the case, Philadelphia will certainly have their hands full in both meetings.

Just because the Eagles have seen plenty of success against their rivals in recent years doesn’t necessarily mean the trend will continue during the 2020 season, so here’s to hoping that Philadelphia takes the proper approach when facing New York.
