3. Giants may not earn first win until middle of October
As previously mentioned, there are plenty of football fans who believe the Giants are capable of becoming a surprise contender in the NFC, but also this is still a team with plenty to prove.

In other words, until New York proves they can in fact live up to the expectations, football fans will most likely believe the Giants are heading towards another year of rebuilding, although the motivation to prove the critics wrong should be there.
With that being said, New York will certainly be heavily tested early on when looking at their schedule from the first two months.
From hosting teams like the 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers to tough battles on the road against the Cowboys and Chicago Bears, the Giants are going to have their work cut out for them to start off the new season.
In all seriousness, New York’s first win of 2020 may not even come until Week 6 when they host the Washington Redskins since they will most likely be underdogs in each of their first five contests.
This may seem unfair to predict for the Giants since the team has made plenty of key moves this offseason as previously mentioned, but also is the reality surrounding New York entering Joe Judge’s first year as head coach.
