The Super Bowl run begins.

Alshon’s value showed in the postseason. Against the Atlanta Falcons in the divisional round, he was once again the same reliable target that he had been all year as he snagged four receptions for 61 yards. It was a solid night that resulted in a huge playoff win for ‘the Birds’, they’re first in a while. Then, he decided to take things up a notch.

On a night at Lincoln Financial Field that Eagles fans will never forget, Philadelphia annihilated the Minnesota Vikings in every aspect of the game. The result was a 38-7 victory that helped them earn a trip to the Super Bowl. Jeffery was a big part of this ‘W’ with 85 yards receiving and two touchdowns on five catches. He was in the zone that night.

Super Bowl 52 only resulted in three receptions, but the result was 73 yards and one of the biggest plays of the game. Just before the end of the first quarter, Nick Foles gave Alshon a chance on a 50-50 ball. Alshon did the rest with a beautiful pirouette in the end zone. That one’s always worth another look. Here’s the clip courtesy of the NFL’s official Youtube Channel:

The Eagles couldn’t have asked for much more from Jeffery in 2017 than what they got, especially because he did it all of what we saw while being injured. His grit and determination won over the city of Philadelphia early, and the momentum carried over into Year 2.
