1. Eagles are expected to be top NFC contender once again

After earning a third trip in a row to the playoffs last season while finishing on top of the NFC East for the second time in three years, early signs point to the Eagles continuing to remain a top contender in the NFC during the 2020 season.

Assuming this turns out to be the case, this would most likely mean Sanders ended up living up to the high expectations and put the running back in better position to potentially earn MVP honors.

Unfortunately, when looking at all of the tough competition across the NFC, the Eagles are going to need numerous factors work out in their favor if that playoff streak is going to increase to four years in a row, including strong play from Sanders.

With that being said, the good news for Sanders is since Philadelphia is built strong enough to hopefully remain a top contender in the conference, this should help put him in great position to build off his success as a rookie.

All things considered, Sanders seems like one of the last players in the NFL expected to take home MVP honors in just his second season, but also crazier things have taken place in the league over the years.

Even if Sanders were to end up coming short of the honors, as long as the young running back still contributed in a big way to put the Eagles in great position to make a run at the Super Bowl, this is what matters the most for Philadelphia.
