Let’s wrap this up.

No one’s saying Wentz is better than Brees yet. He isn’t, but you can make the case he’s better than Matt Ryan. We’ve seen Wentz win with gamers and with nothing around him. Ryan, despite having playmakers around him for his entire career, has only topped a quarterback rating of 100 twice in 12 seasons.

His best came during the 2016-2017 campaign when he led the Atlanta Falcons to the Super Bowl. Then again, Kyle Shanahan was his offensive coordinator. He makes everyone look better. He was also responsible for some of Cousins’ development while he was the OC of the Washington Redskins when Cousins had his best season.

Can you imagine what “11” would have done with Shanahan as an OC? After all, we’ve seen him reach near-MVP status with frank Reich in his ear.

Philly’s added offensive weapons. We’ll see where Wentz goes from here. If he falters now, then we have some real issues to discuss.
