4. Washington’s secondary is another weak point for the Philadelphia Eagles to attack.

If you take Landon Collins out of the thought process, this is a very young secondary. Kendall Fuller is a solid number one corner and was needed, but he’s not going to shut down a guy like DeSean Jackson on Sunday. After Fuller, there isn’t much promise at all. Fabian Moreau has shown improvement over the past few years, but he’s often beaten easily by most receivers.

Troy Apke has the potential to be a solid safety but has only started two games in his two-year career. Consider that and the fact that he’ll be asked to help overtop for both Jackson and Jalen Reagor. Philly fans know all too well about Ronald Darby who got torched pretty much every time he was on the field last year. Fans are chomping at the bit to see him attempt to cover anyone in the Eagles lineup.

Jackson plays differently when facing a former team. After he left Philly, fans witnessed these as he put up big performances against the Eagles secondary when he played in Washington and Tampa Bay. It was also on display last year in the only game he was able to stay on the field for. Washington had no answer for him and it should be the same this year. Fans saw a glimpse of the chemistry between him and Wentz and now it’s finally time for a sequel. As DeSean said this week, ‘get your popcorn ready’.

Reagor has rehabbed quickly off of his shoulder injury. Many are concerned the Eagles are jumping the gun by playing him but if he is anywhere close to one-hundred percent, fans are going to think that it’s 2010 and DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin are back on the field together.

Reagor’s game-breaking speed has been on display during the Summer, and he was able to pick up all three receiver positions with ease, something that J.J. Arcega-Whiteside was not capable of last year. The defensive backs for Washington are going to have their hands full on Sunday.
