The Philadelphia Eagles WRs are healthy, so now it’s time to produce.

It seems like all that hype surrounding Eagles wide receiver J.J. Arcega-Whiteside in training camp was just that. Hype. The ‘Birds’ definitely expected more from him in Week 1.

Even though Arcega-Whiteside played on 28 of Philly’s 68 offensive snaps against Washington, he didn’t record any stats. Yes, Carson Wentz was hurried all day long, but the sophomore wideout was never targeted, not even once. ’11’ needs to know that he can count on him to bail him out, and if Arcega-Whiteside can’t prove that and do it soon, he may get less playing time in the not-too-distant future.

Jalen Reagor, Wide receiver. 3. player. 54. . .

On a day when the Eagles headlines centered on how many sacks they allowed, how many interceptions Carson Wentz threw, or how they blew a 17-point lead, it’s easy to forget rookie wide receiver Jalen Reagor made his pro debut and showed us a few things. It wasn’t perfect as he muffed a punt, but he showed he can be a playmaker and a deep threat.

Now, the ‘Birds’ need for Reagor to maximize some of that potential and make a few plays. It may not be fair to put too much on his plate too early, but no one is going to feel sorry for a first-round draft choice. They’re expected to contribute immediately.
