5 Philadelphia Eagles whose stock has fallen, not including Carson Wentz
Are Philadelphia Eagles fans actually resting some hope in this man?
Come on dudes and dudettes. Do you really think it’s going to matter when Alshon Jeffery gets back? Do you really feel like some spark that the Eagles offense is missing is, all of a sudden, going to ignite into a four-alarm blaze because Jeffery wakes up one morning, and the doctors tell him that he’s, indeed, ready to go?
Is that what you think is going to happen?

Let’s make two things abundantly clear. One, Doug Pederson is better at his job than most of us would be at doing it. None of us are NFL head coaches because we win our Fantasy leagues or because we can play Madden really well. It takes a little more than that.
The second point is as follows. Despite all of his flaws, Howie Roseman isn’t as bad as his job as some of the NFL’s other general managers. There is one glaring issue though. It’s hard to know what he’s doing sometimes. Maybe the same can be said for ‘Dougie P’ too.
From the outside looking in, it feels like Howie and Doug just make things up as they go along. Then, they lie to us and tell us that what they’ve done is a good idea and that you should buy-in.
Nope! Sorry! You won’t fool us this time, not with this ‘Alshon Jeffery is coming back’ thing. The secret to managing stock is knowing when to hold on to them and when to buy and sell. Philly should have sold this one a long time ago, and no, we don’t need to wait and see what he looks like once he’s returned to know that it won’t make that much of a difference in what we’re seeing on the playing field. Sell your Alshon Jeffery stock now!
