Here’s a way-too-early Philadelphia Eagles-only and ACC-only mock draft.

It’s never too early to do some scouting, but who knows that better than Philadelphia Eagles fans? After the first month of the NFL season, much of the conversation surrounding the ‘Birds’ has revolved around the same topics we always seem to be discussing This team seems to hate the idea of getting better at the linebacker position. This team needs wide receivers and running backs. This team needs cornerbacks and depth along the offensive line.

No matter what they do, nothing changes. Expect much of this to be to the topic of discussion when we near the 2021 NFL Draft.

Okay Eagles fans, so with that being said, let’s talk about a few prospects. The Eagles need to get better quickly in a few areas. As we always seem to say, they’ll need to nail their first three draft choices in 2021 because they currently don’t have a fourth-round selection. They do however have two picks in Round 5, three selections in Round 6, and a final pick in Round 7, giving them a total of nine at last count.

He may not know what to do with them once he gets them, but Eagles vice president and general manager Howie Roseman is among the NFL’s best at wheeling and dealing his way into more draft picks during the selection meeting. Might we see him parlay his way into ten picks or more? We shall see.

As of right now, here’s a way-too-early guess on three guys the ‘Birds’ might be eyeing in the first three rounds. Just for fun, let’s do something a little different Here’s our Eagles-only and ACC-only three-round mock draft. Yes, everyone realizes that it’s October.
